Student Email Account

FSW has designated email as the official method of communication with students regarding topics of an academic or administrative nature.  Set up your FSW Student Portal by visiting my.fsw.edu click, “New User,” and follow the prompts to set up your FSW Student Portal and email.  (Home Tab>Google Mail)

 

Your FSW Buc student email address is (your portal username)@bucs.fsw.edu

Emergency Notification

The FSW Alert emergency notification system is the official source for emergency alerts, warnings, and information from FSW. FSW Alert delivers emergency alerts to students, faculty, staff, and campus partners simultaneously through 20 primary and secondary delivery methods in 5 minutes or less. The contact information used for this system is generated by the information you have provided to the college. It is recommended though, that everyone take a moment to review and update your Personal Emergency Contact Information (PDF) on your FSW Portal Account.

The college is now sending out text notifications for the following communications:

  • Advising Appointment Notifications

You may opt in or out of receiving text communications by logging into my.fsw.edu ⇒​​ clicking on Update Personal Information​​⇒​ Allow or Do Not Allow under Allow Texting.

Allow Texting agreement statement. Navigate to the site and menu to hear the statement.
