Internet Requirements
A reliable high-speed Internet connection is required for online courses. Many course tools, videos, and activities may not work correctly on slow or unstable connections.
When possible, use a wired (Ethernet) connection instead of Wi-Fi for better stability.
To check your connection, run a free Internet speed test.

First Day Checklist
On the first day of classes, log in to each of your courses and review the syllabus. The syllabus is your contract with the professor, which outlines course expectations, due dates, and required materials.
Next, confirm you have the correct textbooks and course materials listed in the syllabus for each course.

Canvas Mobile App
The Canvas mobile app for iOS and Android is a convenient way to stay up to date with course announcements, discussions, and messages while you are on the go.
For the best experience when submitting assignments, taking quizzes, or viewing presentations, use a desktop or laptop computer (PC or Mac). Some Canvas features are limited or may not function correctly on mobile devices.
If something does not work in the mobile app, switch to a desktop or laptop for that assignment, quiz, or discussion.
