Accessing the Microsoft Office 365 Dashboard and Applications


1) Navigate to https://www.fsw.edu/ and sign in to MyFSW.

2) Locate the "Student Quick Links" card.

 

Note - If you do not see the "Student Quick Links" card on your Home page, select the Hamburger widget located on the top left of the screen. From the additional options, select "All Cards". Finally, locate the "Student Quick Links" card and click on the ribbon to save it to your Home page.

 

3) Now, select the "Microsoft 365" link in the "Student Quick Links card".

4) At the "Do you trust fsw.edu?" screen, select "Continue".

 

5) If you are using a public or shared computer, click "No". If you are using your personal device, click "Yes" to stay signed in and reduce how often you're prompted to log in. 

6) Once you have reached the Microsoft 365 Home page, select "Apps" on the left to view and access your applications.

7) All of your available applications will be visible at the top of this page. Simply click on an application to begin using it!

How to Save a File Using Microsoft Office 365 Online


1) Select the application you would like to use.

2) Create a blank document or upload an existing file.

3) Select "File". Then select "Create a Copy". Finally, select "Download a copy".

4) A pop-up will appear on the top right. Select the folder icon to be redirected to the file's location in your Downloads folder in File Explorer.

5) The file will be located in your Downloads folder.

 

Tip: You can move a file from your Downloads folder to your desktop by locating the document in the Downloads folder, holding down the left mouse button on the document name, and dragging it to the Desktop.

How to export Microsoft Office 365 Online documents to PDF


1) Select Word from the list of applications.

2) Create a blank document or upload an existing file.

3) Select "File". Then, select "Export". Finally, select "Download as PDF".

4) A pop-up will appear on the top right. Select the folder icon to be redirected to the file's location in your Downloads folder in File Explorer.

5) The file will be located in your Downloads folder.

 

Tip: You can move a file from your Downloads folder to your desktop by locating the document in the Downloads folder, holding down the left mouse button on the document name, and dragging it to the Desktop.
