Acceptance Letter in Recruit


Currently we are using the letter generation functionality of Recruit to create and make available a PDF version of the acceptance letter.  The student also receives an acceptance email which has instructions to download the PDF.

There are “Decision Release Rules”, which are auto-triggered to evaluate every time an accepted decision (AS, CA, SA) is returned to Recruit. These rules were activated on 03/22/2022 @ 8am and are not retroactive. This letter is set up to be viewable and downloadable via the web front end (see steps below). The rules use the Advanced Find: “FSW AA-AS First Time Applicants” below (in the Application Statuses entity).

NOTE:  The “Process Decision Rules” workflow, which is a force of the above auto-trigger, can also be run ad-hoc on selected records.  

 


INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIEWING OR DOWNLOADING THE PDF FROM THE STUDENT CX

Student logs in here:  https://fsw.elluciancrmrecruit.com/Apply/Account/Login

They see their “My Account” page and click on “View” link under “ACTION” here ….

… which takes them to this page here with the three (3) tabs/links below – “Review”, “Supplemental Items”, and “Decision History”. When they click on “Decision History” … 

… they see the option to “Download” the “DECISION LETTER” here:


TO PRINT LETTERS

Use the Advanced Find “Decisions Made Yesterday” (in Applications entity) below, to identify the population and batch print. 

The “Generate Batch Decision Letters” process creates the letter in PDF format, which can then be printed.
