Purpose Statement
To support the exchange of international (F-1) students by providing a means of financing their studies, depending on availability of FTE exemptions.
Guidelines
Eligible international (F-1) students may receive FTE tuition exemptions for up to 12 hours per semester, as determined by the availability of these exemptions and criteria established by the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Procedures
Recommendations for international (F-1) student FTE exemptions shall be forwarded for approval to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
The Vice President of Academic Affairs, in consultation with the Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, shall allocate up to 10 FTE exemptions each academic year, depending on availability to support the College's strategic initiative to enhance international study opportunities.
This procedure is contingent upon continued legislative authority to offer exemptions.
