  • The first thing you will notice is that the Windows 10 Lock Screen has a new design to it. 
  • To log in to your computer, you will still press "CTRL + ALT + DELETE" keys.

New Start Menu


The Windows 10 Start Menu can be located in the bottom left of your screen, similar to previous versions of Windows. The location of everyday items has been adjusted.

Customize the Start Menu


You can set up your Start Menu with the applications you want.

  • By using Pins of your most-used apps, you can quickly access them without cluttering up your Desktop.
  • Pin an application to your Start Menu by "Right Clicking" the application and selecting the Pin option.

If you would like, you can resize the pins to your preferred size.

  • Right-click on a Pinned tile.
  • Mouse over "Resize" and select the option you prefer.

Task View


One of the newest features in Windows 10 is Task View.

  • Click the Task View button that is pinned to your Taskbar.
  • You can also access Task View by using the keyboard shortcut (Windows Key + Tab).

Aero Snap


Aero Snap is back in Windows 10, but it has an improvement to its functionality. You can now snap up to four windows on one monitor.

  • Drag a window to the corner of your screen.
  • You should see an outline previewing that it will take up 1/4th of the screen.
  • Release the mouse button.

Increase Font Size


You can make the Font and application icons bigger on your computer. 

  • Click on the Start Menu
  • Locate and click on Settings
  • Locate and click on System
  • Ensure Display is selected on the left
  • Locate the Scale and layout option
  • Click the drop-down box and choose your preferred setting
