As we cycle through replacing our technology equipment with newer version, make sure that you are capturing all the necessary data off the old equipment.

Bookmarks are a hassle to track down again if they are all lost.  Here is a quick article to explain how to export and import them from one computer to another.

Also, consider any Microsoft Outlook quick parts you may have designed and saved.  Make sure you advise the desktop support personnel replacing your laptop of any and all applications you may need reinstalled on your new equipment.  For example, appworx and Filezilla.

1. Open Chrome and access the Bookmarks Manager:

Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner, then select "Bookmarks" and then "Bookmark Manager".

2. Open the Bookmark Menu Icon:

In the Bookmark Manager, you will see a three-dot menu icon (More actions) in the top-right corner of the page. 

3. Click Export Bookmarks:

Select "Export Bookmarks" from the drop-down menu.

4. Select Destination and Save:

Choose the location on the share drive where you want to save the HTML file. The file will be named "bookmarks" followed by today's date.
