Adobe Creative Cloud FAQ

What is Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications and also some optional cloud services. There are over 20 apps available to you. Some of the apps available are Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat DC, In Design, and more.  A complete list is available on Adobe’s website.

How do I request an Adobe Creative Cloud account?

To request an Adobe Creative Cloud account, please fill out the Adobe CC request form (requires MyFSW username and password).

How do I access Adobe Creative Cloud?

Once your Adobe Creative Cloud account has been set up, you can access your account by visiting the Adobe Creative Cloud website, and clicking sign-in in the upper right corner; this will bring you to a login screen where you will enter your FSW email, and it will redirect to the MyFSW login for authentication.  Detailed instructions are listed above.

I had an existing Adobe Creative Cloud account with the college. Do I need to do anything?

Not at this time, continue to use your login credentials as you did before.  IT will be switching these users over to single-sign-on and will contact you when it takes place.  In the meantime, continue to use the application as you currently do.

I noticed Adobe Creative Cloud includes storage. Does IT recommend we use this storage?

Yes and No.

  • For your personal projects, you definitely can take advantage of this free space.
  • For FSW related projects, the network shares assigned to you and Microsoft OneDrive are the recommended storage solutions.

NOTE: IT is not responsible for files you store in Adobe Cloud.

Are students eligible for this?

Not at this time.  The courses that require Adobe are under a separate agreement.
